Job Overview
Performs specialized professional level work developing, organizing, administering, and evaluating assigned emergency management programs and functions. Provides support and technical expertise to other program staff, other departments, the community and Emergency Management Program (EMP) participants. Supports response and recovery functions in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) when emergencies impact the community. May serve as the County’s representative/liaison to a variety of federal, state, regional, and local agencies associated with emergency management.
Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge of healthcare facility emergency plans and reviews
- Providing communications and support as necessary to healthcare facilities, such as Assisted Living Facilities, Nursing Homes, and Hospitals
- Coordination with Healthcare Coalition supporting planning, training, and exercises as needed
